Licensed tour guide in Italy and Australia
History and travel have always gone together for me. I’m a licensed tour guide in Italy, covering Campania and the rest of the country, and in Australia I’m qualified and licensed through Tour Guides Australia.
Where I guide in Italy
Pompeii, Capri, Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast
These are the classics, and the places most people come to Campania to see. I know them well and I still enjoy every visit.
Benevento and Avellino
I love taking people inland to the Benevento and Avellino areas, which most visitors to Campania never see.
The Path of the Gods
Walking in the Lattari Mountains is a favourite, especially the Sentiero degli Dei, which runs high above Positano with views down the whole coast.
Italy and Australia
Licensed tour guides in Italy are registered on the Ministry of Tourism’s national tour guide portal. In Australia I’m qualified and licensed with Tour Guides Australia.
My Italian tour guide licence
My profile on the national tour guide register: licensed in Italy since 12 June 2018, with my compensatory assessment completed in Campania, first qualified in Australia, and guiding in Italian, English and Maltese.

Around Australia
From Brisbane down to Melbourne, across to Adelaide and over to Tasmania.

Around the world
Dubai; Paris, Disneyland Paris, Normandy and Brittany; London and the Cotswolds; Amsterdam; every region of Italy, from Aosta Valley to Sicily and Sardinia, plus San Marino and Vatican City; Malta; Egypt from Cairo and the Grand Egyptian Museum to Abu Simbel; Morocco from Casablanca and Fez to the Atlas Mountains and the Sahara; Bavaria; Salzburg; Kraków and Zakopane; Prague; Budapest; Crete; Lapland; the Algarve and Andalusia.

Egypt and the ancient world
My fascination with ancient Egyptian history started young and never went away. Seeing Egypt in person, along with the ruins of Pompeii and the old cities of the Mediterranean, is a big part of why I travel.

A night at a camel outpost
I travelled all the way down to the border between Egypt and Sudan. We couldn’t cross into Sudan because of the war, so we stayed at a camel outpost on the border instead, where the Sudanese camel traders looked after us with fantastic hospitality.
